THE LAST HUNTING REPORT

Hello my friends this is your old pale Dokkie. This is the last huinting report of the year. I am sad to report that I did not get a deer this season. Talked to some other hunting buddies and they were the lucky ones. But all we can do is make preperations for next season. For all those hunters that got what they was looking for congradulations. TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the woods not a creature was stirring, and I aught to know I was out there. The rifle was loaded and resting with care.In hopes that those eight reign deer would soon be there. The coffee was warm and tasty. The hunting buddies was in there stands all freezing and thinking of tenderloin and smoked deer sausage. I had just nodded of for the evening hunters nap. When out in the distance of the woods i heard jingle bells. On the radio I called to alert the other hunters. Shot rang out all over the countryside. When the last bullet was shot and the smoke was all clear we got out of our stands to claim our meat. Once we got to the site we saw him. It was Rudolf himself. Not knowing who shot him we settled it the only way we knew how. We played rock paper scissor for it. While in the middle of the game we saw Santa running down the hill as fast as he could. I heard him exclaim when he got too the bottom Merry ChrisTmas to you all next year there will be a fight.

GOING HUNTING

Hello once again it's your old pale Dokkie here with the hunting report. Gun season opened up this past weekend. Now talking out in the community I have heard of a few friends and neighbors have had a good hunt. Some have killed there first and some have added to there collections. Me I have not been yet but will be headed out in the morning. I will be stepping in to my house here and with my trusty riffle maybe drop one or two. HUNTING LICENSE

Hey out there it's your ol pale Dokkie with the hunting report. I want to talk to you about one thing you need to hunt and hunt right.While we stock up on sent, calls and various food products we tend to overlook the one piece of equipment we need. I'm talking about your hunting licenses. Before we even think of going in the woods we need to make that purchase. We all want to have fun and enjoy our hunt so keep the g.w. off your back and get your license. This is Dokkie saying good luck and good hunt. SAFTEY FIRST

Hey there Dokkie here. This season while you are hunting remeber to be safe. Here are three ways you can be safe this hunting season. 1. Always wear your hunters orange vest and make sure you have extra ones just in case. 2. When gun is not in use weather you are in your stand or walking to your stand keep your saftey on till you are ready to fire it. This goes for when you are asleep also. 3. If you are in a tree stand make sure you ore secure in some way so you don't fall out on the ground. Remember saftey first and most of all have a good time. See y'all next time.

TIS' THE SEASON

Hey there deer hunters i'ts your old pale Dokkie here with this weeks hunting report. Tis' the season, not that season. Hunting season is going full blast. Bow seson is in full swing aswell as squirrle season. Bow hunting to me is not as fun as gun hunting. For one reason it's to hot and you fight the bugg more than the deer. The other reason is you run the risk of loosing your deer if you don't drop him right then and there. The same can be said for gun season too. But wioth the gun you can let him or her get as close as you want. I sday hunt whichever type of hunting you want. And remember size does not matter you can't eat the horns. YOUR CHOICE

Hey there Dokkie here with this weeks hunting report. Many hunters have alway discussed shooting houses or treestands. My advice is like the cammo pattern hunt in the one you feel comfortable in. Some people may not like hights so I say use a house. Me personaly I use a recliner to hunt out of. So whatever you prefer use it. This has been the hunting report and I am your old pale Dokkie. WEAPON OF CHOICE

Hey y'all Dokkie here with the hunting report. When you think of a hunting rifel what is the first thing that comes to mind? Most people want knock down power and some want the perfect shot. It has been my expirence that whatever rifel you choose the results are the same. The gun goes boom sometimes the deer drops sometimes he don't. So remember pick the rifel that goes boom. This is Dokkie saying good luck and good hunt.

CAMO PATTERN

Hello my friends Dokkie here with the hunting report. On all these hunting shows the allways show commercials about camo patterns. Some of them blend in with the trees and some blend in with the bushes. What you need to remember is it does not really matter what pattern you use. All deer are color blind. Imean can you just see two deer saying to each other Bill don't go that way that tree shot Bob last week. I know Joe yesterday my cousin James walked by this bush and got shot by an arrow. At the end of the day all you need is a pattern you feel comfortable with. No matter what pattern you wear, no matter if you look like a tree if the deer spot you all you will see is that white flag, and not the surrendering kind. 4- WHELLERS

Evening to y'all Dokkie here. I want to talk to yo today about 4-wheelers. Now I know that many of you don't have a 4-wheeler,but I still want to talk about them. 4-wheelers are one of the best invition ever made for the hunter. There are many forms of them some have a rack and some have a bed. Now I for one recommend the one with the bed on the back. That is the one that I use and I just love it. For one it is a two seater and it drives like a car. You don't have to sit on it like a horse. Pluse when you kill your deer you can put it in the bed and drive back to the skinning rack. When the day comes make sure whatever 4-wheeler you have that it is gassed up. One hunting seaseon me and Red was out in the woods and he shot this deer that we had to track. Things was going good, we was on the trail and that's when it happened we ran out of gas and had to drag that deer all the way back to the house. Now that was something we each took turns dragging the deer. So make sure that you gass up your ride. This is the hunting report and i'm dokie saying good luck and good hunt. CLEAR PATH

Hello there Dokkie here with this weeks report. Today I want to talk to you a clear path for your hunting sites.It want take much just a littel bit of time and work. You see you take your chainsaw or ax and clear you a trail. It dose not havet to be a wide on jus wied enough for you to see to get a clear shot. You open up a trail and you be suprise the amount of deer you see. If you have a food plot make sure you have a clear space for your shot. Remeber an open space makes a difference. FOOD PLOTS

Hello to all my friends out there. Today I want to talk to you about food plots. Food Plots will help you get that much needed advantage. Now I can't tell you that food plots will get you that big buck,but it don't help. Now there are a number of plots you can plant. Some people plant big food plots and some small ones. It is not the size of the plot but whats results you get from the food plot. It is important that you read the bag carefully to see when to plant it. It is also important that you plant the plot at the right time. Always make sure that you keep a check on your plot and not let the deer in before it grows to the right height. With a proper food plot you will probably have the advantage. This has been Dokkies hunting report on food plots. Get ready for a good safe season and remember to keep all guns on safety when not in use. Hunting guns are not toys.
